Convenience Center Locations

For the convenience of Amelia County citizens, Waste Management operates six convenience centers and recycling sites in Amelia County:

  • Deatonville: 7761 S Genito Road
  • Mannboro: 6701 Namozine Road
  • Maplewood Landfill: 20221 Maplewood Road
  • Old County Landfill: 10200 Epps Lane
  • Pleasant Grove: 14415 Dykeland Road
  • Ponton's Store: 5141 Ponton's Circle
Hours of Operation

  • Mondays and Saturdays: 7 am to 7 pm
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 3 pm to 7 pm
  • Fridays: 11 am to 7 pm
  • Sundays and Wednesdays: Closed
For the additional convenience of county citizens, the public access area of the Maplewood Landfill is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your trash disposal and recycling needs.
