The mission of the Amelia County Recreation and Parks Department is to enhance the quality of life in Amelia County by providing the best possible recreational facilities, open natural spaces and leisure programs for our citizens.
Our efforts include the preservation of natural areas, green space, park settings and public recreational facilities. The Amelia County Parks and Recreation Department also provides diverse year-round leisure opportunities, nature walks, comprehensive recreational programs, activities and team sports that encourage the following opportunities within our community, county and region for:

The Amelia County Parks and Recreation Department offers programs beginning with toddlers and continue to provide quality programs and services through our seniors.
Senior Citizen Programs
Currently, all senior citizen programs are done in collaboration with, and in partnership with, the Work Force and Senior Navigator program.
